Overview

Outlook Folder Size is an Add-In control for Microsoft Outlook that provides you with folder size information both textually and graphically. Warning limits can be set and delivered visually and/or verbally.

After installation you will see a new toolbar in Outlook.

Features

• The current selected folder name and size information is displayed beside an icon that indicates whether the folder is online or offline. You can click this button to define any folder specific size threshold and warning, etc.
• Warnings can be issued visually and/or verbally (makes use of Microsoft Speech Library).
• The folder size information is obtained directly from Exchange whenever possible, bypassing the local cache (this is Exchange 2003 (or higher) specific).
• User defined folders are periodically checked to see if the defined threshold has been exceeded.
• If a folder contains subfolders, a pie chart can be generated that displays the size distribution.
• Warnings and monitoring can be disabled at the click of a button.

Requirements

• Client: Outlook 2003, Microsoft .NET Framework V2.0, OS (98/ME/NT4/2K/XP/2003), VSTO 2005.
• Server: Exchange 2003 or higher Recommended. Also tested with Exchange 2000 with minor loss of functionality.
• Try before you buy! Select the Download shown in the Quick Info box and try the free evaluation version.
• N.B. If you've installed OFS on Outlook 2003 and upgrade to Outlook 2007 Beta 2, the product will continue to work, but as Outlook 2007 is in beta, we do not provide support for this configuration.
