Overview
Planet Smart Map (PSM) is a multi-lingual, multi-regional, mapping and routing solution
that is specifically designed for the Smartphone. The interface has been designed
by a Smartphone user for a Smartphone user, i.e. keep typing to an absolute minimum!
The mapping and routing are provided by the Microsoft
MapPoint Service
.
This product is a FREE download, but please note: this is a beta product, so installation
and use are at your own risk, and if your phone is locked, you will not be able
to install it.
Requirements
- MapPoint Web Service account and SmartPhone running the Compact Framework.

- HTC Typhoon (aka Orange SPV C500, SMT5600, i-mate SP3, i-mate SP3i, SDA, SDA Music
or QTek 8010)
- HTC Tanager (aka Orange SPV-E200, Qtek 8080, i-mate SP2)
- Please let us know if this product works on another phone!
Installer
Will use an MSI installer that you run from your desktop machine; this will deploy
the appropriate CAB file to your Smartphone using ActiveSync. N.B. Currently we
are having some issues with this, so the download simply contains the CAB files
to be manually installed.
