Overview
eCourier is document and workflow management system that integrates with Microsoft Outlook
and Exchange. It is particularly suited to organisations that routinely send documents for
response, comment or similar action.
Uses Microsoft Outlook Forms and Public Folders to:
- replace the physical movement of documents and attachments
- guide the workflow so that people cannot take inappropriate actions
The physical document remains safely with the initiator of the request. The electronic
messages are both faster and more secure than traditional "paper trails".
Management Information
The eCourier process is transparent:
- It is easy to see who has been assigned to correspondence and where it is in the
approval process
- The original physical document reamins safely with the initiator of the request
- Instructions for processing can be included with the document
- The process requires that all approvers have signed off before the response is
complete
- The transaction log provides an audit trail of access to the document

Requirements
