Overview
Outlook Speaks is a simple Windows application that automatically runs in the taskbar
when your computer first starts.
When it detects Outlook is running or has stopped, you receive vocal notification
that Outlook Speaks is active or inactive.
More importantly, when you receive a new email, you are verbally informed that you
have a new EMail along with the priority, the sender and the subject.
And best of all, its Totally Free!
Requirements
- Operating System: Microsoft Windows (English Language Versions) of 98, NT4 SP6a,
ME, 2000, XP, and .NET Server.
- Microsoft .NET Framework: V1.1
- Soundcard: Not all sound cards or sound devices are supported by the Speech Engine
(SAPI 5), even if the operating system supports them otherwise.
- Outlook: 2000, 2002 and 2003
Please Note: When installed, a shortcut to Outlook Speaks is placed
on the Startup Menu so that it automatically runs each time you start your computer.
You can manually start the application after the installation by selecting this
shortcut.
